Lynn (Sherrill) Smith, 67, Corydon, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at her home.
Born Nov. 20, 1949, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Edward Hawkins and Pearl Elizabeth (Sandy) Wright Frank.
She was a member of Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon and a mom and guardian ad litem for 22 foster children.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Smith; a granddaughter, Lilly Ann Rose Jackson; and a sister, Anita Rickert.
Survivors include her husband, William (Bruce) Smith; three sons, Donnie Ray Dunaway Jr. (Kim Brown) of Marengo, Edward Carver Dunaway of Corydon and Michael Algin Dunaway of Sellersburg; three daughters, Rachel A. Smith of Greensboro, N.C., Jessica Lynn Smith of Greenville and Susie Leigh House (Andrew James House) of New Salisbury; three brothers, Bud Frank (Debbie), Mark Frank (Vicki) and Phil Frank (Alicia), all of Louisville; two sisters, Debbie Hile (Tom) of Louisville and Terri Willoughby (Rick) of Orlando, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Officiant: The Rev. Jim Higdon.
