Barbara W. Timberlake

Barbara Winston Timberlake, 74, Corydon, died Friday, March 10, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born Oct. 30, 1942, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Winston and Alphrietta Jean Gurtz Beauchamp.
She was a retired CNA, a member of Mauckport United Methodist Church and the Energetic Homemakers, was a past president of the American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries in Corydon, was the former conductress of the Eighth District of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, was president of the Capital Court Council and was a Republican.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. (Buster) Timberlake Sr.; a son, Ralph E. Timberlake Jr.; a granddaughter, Nicolette Barbara Beauchamp; and a brother, Earl Lewis.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin R. Ayres (Larry Harmon) of Corydon; three sons, John W. Timberlake (Erica) of Mauckport, Timothy L. Beauchamp (Lynne) of Youngstown, Ohio, and Kerry D. Timberlake of Jeffersonville; three brothers, Mike Lewis of Corydon, Orville Lewis of Milltown and Warren Lewis of Depauw; a sister-in-law, Janie Lewis of Palmyra; 12 grandchildren, Jessica Ayres, Victoria Ayres, Paige Knisley, Megan Timberlake, Ian Beauchamp, Cody Timberlake, John Edwin Timberlake, Kerry Timberlake Jr., Tony Timberlake, Tonya Hill, Sherry Timberlake and Jeff Timberlake; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation: Monday, March 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 14, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiant: The Rev. Mark Windley.
Pallbearers: Jessica and Victoria Ayres, John and Tony Timberlake, Travis McKim, John Mott, Bradley Wiseman and Donnie Harshfield.
The family suggests memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
