Stanley O. Blank
Stanley O. Blank, 89, Corydon, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born June 13, 1927, in Lanesville, he was the son of the late William J. and Adele Schneider Blank.
He was an employee of American Standard in Louisville for 30 years, was a farmer, was an Army veteran during the Korean conflict and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Georgia C. Weis.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Blank of Corydon and Mark Blank (Susan) of Frankfort; a brother, Howard Blank of Bertha, Minn.; two sisters, Margie Miller of Corydon and Marilyn Boyd of Crandall; two granddaughters, Jennifer Dailey and Amy Lousararian; and two great-grandsons, Noah Daniel Dailey and Oliver Mark Dailey.
Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 9, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church east of Corydon with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Laura Meier.
