Hearing expected to end in murder case
Closing arguments in the sentencing hearing for Kyle (Drew) Schuler, one of two individuals accused in a double homicide in August 2013, will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:30 a.m. at Harrison Superior Court.
Schuler, 18 at the time of the murders, entered a guilty plea in November for the killings of Gary Henderson, 70, and Asenath (Senie) Arnold, 57, in their home along Walk Drive in northeastern Harrison County.
The guilty plea was entered to avoid a death-penalty trial.
In September, Schuler’s co-defendant, Austin Scott (also 18 at the time), was sentenced to life in prison by Special Judge Vickie Carmichael after pleading guilty.
