Ruth Imogene Roggenkamp, 92, West Lafayette, died at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at University Place in West Lafayette.
Born Sept. 8, 1924, in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Lee L. and Anna C. Roney Wenning.
She graduated from Morgan Township High School in 1943, attended Business College in Dayton, Ohio, and worked at Wright Field after college.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Huber D. Wenning, and a grandson, John P. Roggenkamp.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Milton W. Roggenkamp; four sons, Gary N. Roggenkamp (Sarah) of Galesburg, Ill., Mark A. Roggenkamp of Bunker Hill, B. Scott of Lafayette and Brett M. Roggenkamp (fianc’ Paula Lentowich) of Centennial, Colo.; and a grandson, Matthew Roggenkamp.
Visitation: Thursday, Feb. 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel.
Memorial service: Thursday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Officiant: The Rev. Nathen Irwin.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
