Stephen R. Whitaker

Stephen R. Whitaker, 66, Corydon, formerly of Louisville, died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, in Corydon.
Born Nov. 10, 1950, he was the son of the late Estell and Pauline Price Whitaker.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; his wife, Lillie Mae Whitaker; a sister, Shirley Whitehouse; and a nephew, Larry Crosier.
Survivors include two sisters, Priscilla Crosier (Bobby) of Linton and Janice Durr (Tim) of New Middletown; several nieces and nephews; and three step-children.
Memorial service: To take place at a later date at the New Albany National Cemetery.
