Stanley Yeager, 74, Georgetown, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at his home.
Born Nov. 2, 1942, in Lanesville, he was the son of the late Melvin and Eunice Smith Yeager.
He retired after 38 years from Tubeturns in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, the former Carolyn McPherson; three sons, David Yeager (Cheryl Howerton) of Depauw, Dennis Yeager (Tina Springer) of Greenville and Dale Yeager (Laurie) of Leitchfield, Ky.; a daughter, Diane Leanhart (Robert Chase) of Georgetown; two brothers, Donald Yeager of New Washington and Harlan Yeager of Memphis; a sister, Bonnie Garrett of N.C.; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 11, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
