Annette L. Fouts

Annette L. Fouts, 93, Corydon, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016.
Born Aug. 24, 1923, near Depauw, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Cordia Gurtz Bush.
She was a retired statistical clerk from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and a member of St. Rita’s Alter Society and St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Fouts Sr.; stepmother, Effie Bush; two sisters, Mary K. Adams, an infant sister, and Annette L. Bush; two step-sisters, Mary Lou Howerton and Olive Rae Kinder; four step-brothers, Cletis Pinaire, Carl Churchill, Keith Churchill and William Churchill; and three nephews, David, Danny and Joe Adams.
Survivors include a son, Charles B. Fouts (Diana) of Crandall; a grandson, Charles M. Fouts (Kris) of Apex, N.C.; a granddaughter, Angela Coleman (Ronald) of Land O Lakes, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Kiersten Hoehn, Zachary Hoehn, Kaleigh Fouts and Aubrey Fouts; a half sister, Judy Thomas (Terry) of Corydon; 10 nieces, Sue Fessel, Ann Baker, Sheila McIntyre, Linda Swaney, Louetta Roll, Lura Byrd, Jane Whittaker, Kathy Robson, Lisa Baxter and Ann Crecelius; and two nephews, Mark and John Adams.
Visitation: Sunday, Dec. 18, from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 19, after 8 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Monday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown with burial in the church cemetery.
