Claude A. Lang
Claude A. (Jack) Lang, 86, Corydon, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born May 26, 1930, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Henry Waldo and Lola Cleatus Hottel Lang.
He was a retired mechanic, a member of the American Legion in New Albany and an Army veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hartman Lang; a brother, Herman Lang; and two sisters, Ersel Mayden and Alma Fravel.
Survivors include a son, Louis (Pete) Lang of Leavenworth; three daughters, Wanda Mae Schmidt (Doug) of Corydon, Jacque McKim (Seth) of Jackson, Tenn., and Bootie Bruner (Bill) of Corydon; a sister, Estel Hardsaw of Corydon; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 29, from noon to 7 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Memorial service: Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.
Honorary pallbearers: Todd, Scott and Gavin Lang, Beau and Jesse Reeder and Gar Bruner.
