Karen S. Jensen


Karen Sue Jensen, 72, Corydon, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at her home.
Born Aug. 25, 1944, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Clara Belle Crone Lasley of Corydon and the late Warren Lee Lasley.
She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Louisville and was a member of Potato Run United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kevin Cunningham and Timothy Stevens Jr.
Survivors in addition to her mother include a son, Kelly Cunningham (Tina) of Madison; two daughters, Medea (DeeDee) Tatum (Greg) of Newburgh and Tina Shaffer (Dave) of Corydon; three brothers, Rodney Lee Lasley and Brent Lasley (Diana), both of Corydon, and Norman Lasley (Sally) of Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Brenda Morford, Lillian Rhodes (David) and Mindy Sterling, all of Corydon; three grandchildren, Adam Stephens (Ashley) and Zach and Kaege Cunningham; and two great-grandchildren, Kennedie Stephens and Alerionna Cunningham.
Visitation: Friday, Nov. 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 19, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with entombment in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Larry Hensley.
