Erma G. Snyder
Erma Glenn Green Snyder, 90, Corydon, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at The Willows Assisted Living near Corydon.
Born Sept. 23, 1926, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel B. and Zula E. Baker Green.
She was a member of Harrison County Farm Bureau and the Central Homemakers Club and attended Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. Harold Snyder; four brothers, Samuel M., Alva, Delbert and Charles Green; and two sisters, Goldie Taylor and Bessie Thevenot.
Survivors include three daughters, June E. Vaughn, Anna B. Haun and Kena Quebbeman (Dennis), all of Corydon; a sister, Mary Arnold Chinn of Depauw; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation: Friday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Rob Pryor.
Pallbearers: Bryan, Preston, Cory, Josh and Nathanael Haun, Carl Vaughn, John Sieboldt and Charlie Snyder.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Harrison County Animal Control Facility or Heidelberg United Methodist Church near Corydon.
