Larry T. Savard
Larry T. Savard, 75, Corydon, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
Born May 25, 1941, in Tupper Lake, N.Y., he was the son of the late Clarence and Yvonne Cusson Savard.
He was a retired civil engineer who worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 26 years before he retired and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Savard, and a sister, Beth Etzenhouser.
Survivors include his wife, the former Barbara E. Albert; two daughters, Mardel Overly and Tanya Council, both of California; a brother, Ray Savard of Denver, Colo.; three step-children; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 7, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, both in Corydon.
Officiant: Father Robert Hankee.
Pallbearers: Ray Savard, Matt Etzenhouser, Mike Wampler, Tony Andrews and Ben Althaus.
