Roy K. Morgan
Roy Kenneth Morgan, 94, Elizabeth, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care an& Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Dec. 15, 1921, in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late Edgar Isaac and Ruby Mae Hottell Morgan.
He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II, where he served as a member of the 389th Bomb Group of the Army Air Corps.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marjorie Davis McInteer; a daughter, Elaine McKnight; three sisters, Pearl Kirkham, Ruth Watson and Darlene Bour; and two grandchildren, Stacy Brewer and Ronald Biddle Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Jean Dean (Nelson) and Sandy Miller (Bill), both of Elizabeth, and Marianne Russel (Marshall) of Laconia; a sister, Bonnie Speicher of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, July 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday, July 25, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, July 25, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Glenwood Cemetery near Elizabeth.
Officiant: The Rev. Greg Carter.
Pallbearers: Brian and Todd McKnight, Randy Brown, Joe Sepanek, Sam Mills and Darrell Summers.
