Eunice R. Walther, 87, Corydon, died Friday, July 15, 2016, at her home.
Born April 27, 1929, in Gravelton, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Omar and Ivera Wilbrand Rau.
She was a cake decorator and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Walther.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Walther and Thomas Walther (Holly), both of Corydon; a daughter, Rebecca Kessinger (Jimmy) of Georgetown; two sisters, Carolyn Walther (Norbert) of Lanesville and Dorothy Kahre (Jim) of Evansville; seven grandchildren, Alexzandria and Jacob Kessinger, Jennifer Kellems (Matt) and Jamie, T.J., Cassandra and Travis (Angie) Walther; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Thursday, July 21, after 9 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church south of Lanesville.
Funeral: Thursday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at the church with burial in St. John’s Cemetery south of Lanesville.
Officiant: The Rev. Ronald Richeson.
Pallbearers: Alexzandria and Jacob Kessinger, Fletcher Tinius, Matt Kellems and Felix, Jamie, T.J. and Travis Walther.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the St. John’s Lutheran Church General Fund or Cemetery Fund.
