Robin G. Hooten

Robin G. Hooten, 62, died Saturday, July 2, 2016, in Fort Wayne.
Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Constance Hooten.
He worked as a skilled trades technician with General Motors for 30 years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Hooten.
Survivors include four children, Deborah Hooten of Roanoke, R. Christopher Hooten (Carol) and Charles Hooten, both of Fort Wayne, and Angela Sorrell (Aaron) of Shenyang, China; five siblings, Roscoe Hooten (Pat) of Marengo, Suzanne Hooten-McClanahan of Greencastle, Dwight Hooten of English, Mary Ann Hooten-Bivens of Muncie and Elizabeth Hooten-Clark of Middletown; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home in Fort Wayne.
Funeral: Tuesday, July 5, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Visiting Nurse.
