Ronald L. Cantrell, 64, Corydon, died Monday, June 20, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born June 27, 1951, in Louisville, he was the son of Emma G. Smith Cantrell of Corydon and the late James (York) Cantrell.
He was a retiree of Colgate-Palmolive in Jeffersonville, a current employee of First Capitol Liquors in Corydon and a Vietnam-era Navy veteran who served on the USS Hunley.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Maureen Day; two sons, Josh Cantrell (Lacy) of Corydon and Zach Cantrell (Kristan) of Lanesville; a sister, Billie Jean Bilbrey (Gale) of Corydon; and two granddaughters, Jaiden and Brenna Cantrell.
Visitation: Thursday, June 23, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Friday, June 24, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
