Phyllis J. Fouts
Phyllis J. (Fudge) Fouts, 79, Corydon, died Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her home.
Born April 30, 1937, near Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Mary Eva Gay Frederick Fisher.
She was a retired teller from the Crandall branch of First Harrison Bank and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2950 in Corydon and Hursttown United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Fouts; four sisters, Mary K. Stumler, Eva Libs and Mildred and Neva Stiller; and a brother, Walter J. Fisher.
Survivors include a son, Mark R. Fouts of Corydon; a daughter, Julie Bill (Frank) of Corydon; two brothers, Edmond L. Fisher of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Maurice F. Fisher (Elenora) of Corydon; two sisters, Patricia Armstrong (Robert) of New Salisbury and Sharon Stiner (Jerry) of Corydon; six grandchildren, Stephen, Steph, Ben, John, Beth Ann and Meredith; and a care giver, Chad Powers.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 25, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 26, after 10 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday May 26, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery near Crandall.
