Boyd (Ray) Martin
Boyd (Ray) Martin, 53, Corydon, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
Born Oct. 8, 1962, in San Mateo, Calif., he was the son of the late Fredrick and Exel Paschal Martin.
He was a maintenance worker for ICON Metal Forming in Corydon, had previously worked as a welder for Jeffboat and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fredrick Martin Jr. and Kent (David) Martin.
Survivors include his wife, the Virginia (Ginger) Long; a son, William (Cody) Martin; a brother, Thomas Vincent (Tommy) Martin (Tina) of Clarksville; and five sisters, Nancy Martin-Singleton of Brandenburg, Donna Durbin (Denny) of Irvington, Ky., Judy Martin (Angela) and Dianna White (Michael), both of Corydon, and Hallie Denise Sillings (Scott) of Leavenworth.
Visitation: Monday, May 2, from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 3, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Robert Pryor.
