Janet Lucille Reising, 85, Corydon, died Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, at her home.
Born Feb. 17, 1931, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Martha Hegewald Miller.
She was a 1949 graduate of New Albany High School, a fashion model and a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa and DAR.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Keith Louis Reising; three sons, Keith Louis Reising Jr. (Joyce) of Columbus, Martin Lance Reising (Robyn) of San Diego and Stephen Scott Reising (Ellen) of Sellersburg; a sister, Suzanne Hines of Melbourne, Fla.; four grandchildren, Keith Louis Reising III, Alicia Reising (Hudson Luckett), Chelsea Reising (Eric Grider) and Mary Martha Reising; a great-granddaughter, Kepner Grider; a nephew and niece, Jimmy Corrao (Lori) and LouAnn Thompson (Jon); and two great-nephews, David Schnur and Spence and Austin Corrao.
Visitation: Friday, April 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Andy Hansen.
Pallbearers: Keith Reising Jr., Marty Reising, Stephen Reising, Tre Reising, Jimmy Corrao and Jon Thompson.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association and Old Capitol United Methodist Church.
