Denzil A. Curts

Denzil A. Curts, 94, Georgetown, formerly of Marengo, died Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
The son of the late Roy and Viola Cunningham Curts, he was a retired production worker for E.I. Dupont Nemours in Louisville, a member of Marengo Christian Church, the Marengo Masonic Lodge No. 475 and the American Legion and a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Doris R. Vernon, and a sister, Doris Osborne.
Survivors include a brother, James D. Curts of Louisville; two sisters-in-law, Floris A. Seabrook of New Albany and Peggy L. Vernon of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Monday, March 28, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown and Tuesday, March 29, after 9:30 a.m. at Marengo Christian Church.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the church with interment in Marengo Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Marengo Christian Church.
