Beatrice R. Melton

Beatrice Ruth Melton, 89, Corydon, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Corydon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Aug. 14, 1926, in Louisville, she was formerly employed at Devoe Reynolds Paint Co. in Louisville, a member of Hyland Christian Church near Mauckport and attended Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Ann Carver and Betty Carter, and a brother, James Carver.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorris Wooten of Central and Catherine Gleitz of Corydon.
Visitation: Monday, March 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiant: The Rev. Gilbert Duley.
Pallbearers: William Stiner, David Stiner, Roger Wooten Jr., Daniel Carver, Shawn Bruce and Terry Carter.
