Ferree, Wilkin recognized by SAC

Lanesville’s Joe Ferree and Elijah Wilkin were recently recognized by the Southern Athletic Conference as All-SAC performers.
Ferree, a senior, and Wilkin, a junior, were part of Lanesville’s 4-1 SAC record.
Most Outstanding Player honors went to Ferree.
Within the team standings, New Washington was at the top with a 5-0 league record. It was the program’s first SAC title since the 2009-10 season. Lanesville was the runner-up at 4-1, followed by Henryville (3-2), Borden (2-3), Crothersville (1-4) and South Central (0-5).
Other players named All-SAC were Stevie Mack (New Washington), Zach Moore (New Washington), Brandon Horton (New Washington), Caleb Hart (Borden), Nathan Bachman (Borden), Nick Walker (Henryville), Thomas Green (Henryville) and Tyler Luedeman (Crothersville).
Coach of the Year went to New Washington’s Jonathan May.
