Joan E. Daugherty
Joan E. Daugherty, 65, Corydon, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at her home.
Born April 12, 1950, in Harlan, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Rosa Troxell Bryant.
She was formerly employed at H&R Block, JayC, Walmart and the Big Blue Store, all in Corydon, and was a Christian.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donlee Bryant, and a grandson, Chase McNeill.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert J. Daugherty Sr.; two sons, Robert J. Daugherty Jr. (Elizabeth) of Shelbyville, Ky., and Kevin L. Daugherty of Knoxville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jennifer L. McNeill (Michael) of Central; two brothers, William L. Bryant (Melissa) of Gallatin, Tenn., and Paul R. Bryant of Lebanon, Tenn.; two sisters, Pearl Averill of Seattle, Wash., and Della Troxell of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Cody J. Daugherty (Amber), Jason C. Daugherty, Jennifer L. Stocks (Brage), Kimberly Daugherty (Brad), Kaleb Daugherty and Hunter and Emma McNeill; and two great-grandchildren, Rayven Daugherty and Kayleigh Stocks.
Visitation: Sunday, March 6, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Monday, March 7, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
