William A. Dobson

William A. (Bill) Dobson, 73, Corydon, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center ‘ Indian Creek in Corydon.
Born March 28, 1942, in Louisville, he was the son of the late Charles (Johnny) and Carrie Parker Dobson.
He was a retired supervisor and forklift driver at Thorn-Orwick in Corydon, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon and the old Indiana Army Ammunition Bag Plant near Charlestown and was a member of the Old Capital CB Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Gene Dobson, and a sister, Mary Ann Summers.
Survivors include a son, Hank Dobson of New Albany; two daughters, Patty Dobson of Corydon and Carrie Dobson of New Albany; a brother, Larry Dobson of Corydon; a sister, Joyce Branham of Palmyra; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 8, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 9, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
