Gerald L. Gabbard

Gerald Lee Gabbard, 63, Depauw, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, near New Salisbury.
Born Nov. 2, 1952, in Beechwood, he was the son of the late Elige and Opal Geraldine Bullington Gabbard.
He was a farmer, a member of the Beechwood Coon Hunters Club and former president of the Harrison County Coon Hunters Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Dale and Victor Joe Gabbard; a sister, Geneva Roberts; and his grandparents, Dan and Nanny Shelton Gabbard and Albert and Maudy Kemp Bullington.
Survivors include his partner of 19 years, Nancy Bary of New Salisbury; a son, Jason Felker of Birdseye; a daughter, Randi White of Taswell; three sisters, Linda Smith of English, Brenda Byrne of Corydon and Patsy Woffard of Central; eight grandchildren, Jayden, Seth, Brycie and Sophie Felker, Devin White, Gabriellaa (Taco) Zavala and Cole and Katy Fisher.
Memorial service: Saturday, April 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Bloom-Riddle Cemetery near Alton. In case of inclement weather, the service will be Saturday, April 30.
