Lee K. Gehlbach, 77, Corydon, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Corydon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 18, 1938, in New Middletown, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Vernell Kintner Gehlbach.
He was a retired postal carrier for the United States Postal Service.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley Whitaker.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Gehlbach (Melissa) and Vinson Gehlbach (Susan), both of Elizabeth; two daughters, Veronica Stocksdale (John) of Corydon and Valerie Anjulo of Elizabeth; two brothers, Kenneth Gehlbach Jr. of Corydon and Ernest Gehlbach of Elizabeth; two sisters, Thelma Emily and Carol Emily, both of Corydon; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 22, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 23, after 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery in New Middletown.
Officiant: Pastor Steve Adams.
Pallbearers: Bryan and Brandon Gehlbach, Johnny Rose, Chris Rochner, Neil Sprinkle and Jacob Loftus.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
