Norma T. Pindell, 96, Corydon, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Sept. 11, 1919, in New Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Roxie Curts Trobaugh.
She was a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church for more than 70 years, was formerly employed at the old Indiana Army Ammunition Plant near Charlestown and was a nanny.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Pindell; a daughter, Susie King; and two sisters, Nina Faye Miller and Lorraine Dismang.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Robert King of Darlington and Angie Buckley and Leah King, both of Louisville, and five great-grandchildren, Brenden and Christopher King and Bennet, Bryce and Barrett Buckley.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 21, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Mark McDaniel.
Pallbearers: Robert King, Don Long, Danny Buckley and Darrel, Jesse and Reuben NesSmith.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Presbyterian Church.
