Anna L. Frederick
Anna L. Frederick, 88, Georgetown, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at her home.
Born Nov. 21, 1927, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Atwood and Anna Anderson McKim.
She had been a seamstress for Seinshiemers in New Albany, caretaker of Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown for 35 years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Historical Society in New Albany, Daughters of the American Revolution and Georgetown Christian Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Frederick; two brothers, Tommy and Donald McKim; and a sister, Mary Jane Flick.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Frederick of Georgetown and Stephen Frederick of Cincinnati; three brothers, Paul McKim of San Diego, Arthur McKim of Georgetown and John McKim of Charlestown; three sisters, Vera O’Lessker of Indianapolis, Janet McKim of New Albany and Jackie Taylor of Edwardsville; three grandchildren, Theresa Overby, Jennifer Richards and Kenny Frederick; five great-grandchildren, Claire Richards, Paige and Jacob Luallen and Reagan and Haley Overby; and a great-great-granddaughter, Ruby Anne Parish.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 15, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 16, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
