Nancy E. Young

Nancy Elizabeth Young, 80, Elizabeth, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at her home.
Born Dec. 11, 1935, in Evansville, she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Irene Utley.
She was a Bosse High School graduate, a homemaker, owner and operator of Nancy’s Needlecraft in Newburgh and a member of the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus and Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Edwardsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. Young; a brother, Richard Utley; and a sister, Marilyn Temme.
Survivors include five sons, Kevin and Keith Kneir, both of Elizabeth, David and Phillip Young, both of Evansville, and John Young of Atlanta, Ga.; seven daughters, Kim Wampler of Newburgh, Kelle Elmore of Jeffersonville, Carolyn Young of Elizabeth, Cheryl Sansing of Evansville, Kimberly Hayes of St. Louis and Mary Royse and Debbie Stepter, both of Lexington, Ky.; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 8, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral, Saturday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Edwardsville.
Officiant: Pastor Becky Gibbons.
