Henry C. Vaughn
Henry Carl Vaughn, 78, Corydon, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at his home.
Born Nov. 7, 1937, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Ollie A. and Esther Marie Gleitz Vaughn.
He was a retired mechanic and service manager at Gerdon Auto Sales in Corydon, a member of the American Truck Historical Society and the Federal Knight Club and a veteran of the Army Reserve.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Jones and Beatrice Wiseman, and a half brother, Hoyt Vaughn.
Survivors include his wife, the former June Elizabeth Snyder; a son, Carl E. Vaughn (Sherry) of Corydon; two daughters, Dolores Lynn Sieboldt (Rick) of Elizabeth and Carol A. Hemberger of Corydon; and five grandchildren, John Sieboldt, Ashley Hemberger and Wesley, Austin and Josie Vaughn.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 8, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Rob Pryor.
Pallbearers: Preston and Bryan Haun, Wayne Hemberger, Mike Jones, Orvy Sprayberry and Darrell Miller.
