Erwin D. Boone

Erwin Douglas Boone, 77, Hardinsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at his home.
Born Oct. 25, 1938, in Valley Station, Ky., he was the son of the late George W. Boone and Mary F. Thompson Basham.
He attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Hardinsburg, served in the Kentucky National Guard and retired from Reynolds Aluminum.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Robert and David Boone.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, the former Judith Ann Wright; three children, Terry Boone of Pekin, Laura Coffman of Lebanon Junction, Ky., and Kathy Stafford of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Daniel and Richard Boone, both of Leavenworth; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Hardinsburg Cemetery.
