Ricky Dean Shawler, 56, Henryville, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at 10:18 p.m. at his home.
Born April 29, 1959, in Corydon, he was the son of the late James B. and Louise Spurling Shawler.
He was a 1977 North Harrison High School graduate, a former diesel mechanic of Whayne Supply in Louisville and was a supporter of the NRA.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Brenda Lee Corum, on Aug. 25, 2009; two brothers, James B. and Sherman Shawler; and a sister, Margaret Zimmerman.
Survivors include two children, Clint Dean Shawler of Mount Washington, Ky., and Jessica Louise Fink of Georgetown; eight siblings, George and James Shawler, both of Depauw, Myrtle Baylor, Doris Powers and Lillian and Tammy Ragains, all of Fredericksburg, Tom Shawler of Salem and Joe Shawler of Paoli; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, after noon at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville.
Funeral: Sunday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Henryville.
