Steven J. Summers

Steven James Christopher Summers, 27, Corydon, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born June 24, 1988, in Corydon, he was the son of Steven Douglas and Dawn Denise Harshfield Summers of Corydon.
He was a member of the Harrison County 4-H, where he served on the color guard and the horse judging team, and was a member of New Middletown United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Marissa Lucille Lea and Brynlee Denise Summers, and his grandparents, James E. Harshfield and Linda Summers.
Survivors besides his parents include a brother, Joseph Summers of Morgantown, Ky.; two sisters, Lindsey Summers of Brea, Calif., and Madison Summers of Corydon; and his long-time girlfriend, Samantha Archer.
Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 28, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery east of Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Tim Johnson.
Pallbearers: Andy Hunter, Codey Kelley, Wayne Coffman, Kevin Anderson, Aaron Hoehn and Michael White.
