Tharold G. Beaver

Tharold Gene Beaver, 77, Marengo, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Dec. 7, 1937, in Stella, Mo., he was the son of the late Kenneth and Wilda Cox Beaver.
He was the former owner/operator of Utility Clearing Service for 30 years, co-owner of Home Town Gift and Variety in Marengo and a member and elder of Hillview Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Edna M. Stewart; a son, Rick Beaver of Marengo; two daughters, Tammy Broughton of Marengo and Diann Parr of Leavenworth; two brothers, Jerry Beaver of Wright City, Mo., and Howard Beaver of Nesho, Mo.; a sister, Janice Sanders of Carthage, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 5, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 6, after 11:30 a.m. at Hillview Christian Church near Marengo.
Funeral: Sunday, Sept. 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the church with interment in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown.
Officiants: Pastor Earl Mullins and Brother Jeff Roll officiated.
Arrangements: Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Hillview for Hope, in care of Relay for Life, and/or the American Heart Association.
