Joyce R. Keeling

Joyce R. Tucker Keeling, 75, Palmyra, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at Lincoln Hills Health Care in New Albany.
Born Aug. 29, 1940, in Sulphur, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude Carrol Tucker.
She was retired from Pillsbury Co. in New Albany and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Palmyra United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Tucker, and a sister, Naomi Brown.
She met James M. Keeling Sr., and they married 57 years ago on Dec. 20, 1958, at the Old Union Christian Church in Sulphur.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James M. Keeling Sr.; a son, James Keeling Jr.; three daughters, Beverly Drummond of Fulsom, Calif., Joy (Lynn) Elliott of New Albany and Rose Blank of Palmyra; three brothers, Clarence, Edward and Gene Tucker; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
