Brian J. Wenning

Brian J. Wenning, 60, Palmyra, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.
Born Nov. 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Huber D. and Beulah B. Heuser Wenning.
He was a 1973 graduate of North Harrison High School, a supporter of North Harrison athletics, a former coach and board member of Cal Ripkin Baseball, a pilot and a member of the Washington County Pilot’s Association and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey. He retired in 2004 from the Ford Motor Co. Louisville Assembly Plant after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, the former Lorna D. Voyles; two sons, Stewart L. Wenning of Greenville and Joshua C. Wenning of Palmyra; a daughter, Stacy A. Ferree of Corydon; a sister, Mary Ann Reynolds of Depauw; and a grandson.
Visitation: Sunday, Sept. 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 7, after 10 a.m. at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church south of Ramsey.
Funeral: Monday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. at the church with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery near Ramsey.
Arrangements: Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Unity Chapel Building Fund.
