Larcy J. Roll

Larcy Jean Roll, Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehab ‘ Harrison in Corydon.
Born Aug. 29, 1922, in Depauw, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Golda Voyles Seacat.
Larcy and her husband owned and operated Roll’s Grocery in Fredericksburg for many years and she was an organizer for the Old Blue River Festival, serving on the parade committee.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Roll; three siblings. Quinton Seacat, Irene Barnes and Helen Lofton; and a grandson, Ronald Scott Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald A. Jackson of New Albany and Rick Roll of Salem; a brother, Carl Seacat, of New Albany; a sister, Mayme Howell of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Aug. 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 16, after noon at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Sunday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kay’s Chapel Cemetery near Palmyra.
