James E. Talley Sr.

James E. Talley Sr., 76, Milltown, died Monday, July 27, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Dec. 9, 1938, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Russell Eugene and Mabel Elizabeth Bedan Talley.
He was a former employee of Pillsbury in the sanitation department, an Army veteran and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church near Marengo and the ProLife Organization.
Survivors include his wife, the former Imogene Haycraft; two sons, Dennis W. Talley of Leavenworth and James E. Talley Jr. of Shepherdsville, Ky.; two daughters, Brenda L. Rogers of English and Rose Marie Barnett of Surprise, Ariz.; a brother, Donald E. Talley of Leavenworth; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, July 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, July 31, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral Mass: Friday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church inn Marengo with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
Officiant: Father Fred Dennison.
