Abby Leigh Sutherland, 20, Leavenworth, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, near Palmyra.
Born March 28, 1995, in Corydon, she was employed as a service technician at Heritage Ford in Corydon, was a hostess at the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth, was Miss Crawford County for 2015 and was a supporter of the Love For Lily cancer benefits.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim Parr and Oscar and Francis Sutherland.
Survivors include her father, Alvin D. Sutherland of English; her mother and stepfather, Jamie Lynn Parr Nale and Ron Nale of Marengo; a grandmother, Carol Sue Parr of Grantsburg; two brothers, Dudley Sutherland of Dallas and Joshua Sutherland of Columbus, Mo.; and two sisters, Angela Sutherland of Leavenworth and Alisa Lieber of Lanesville.
Visitation: Monday, Aug. 3, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 4, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
Pallbearers: Dudley and Joshua Sutherland, Matt Shilling and Adam, Derick and Dylan Parr.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville for cancer research.
