Marshall A. Blankenship

Marshall Alex Blankenship, 64, Elizabeth, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at his home.
Born Sept. 6, 1950, in Clark County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Etta Burden Blankenship.
He was a maintenance mechanic at Jeffboat for 42 years and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 32 in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Blankenship; six sons, Todd Blankenship of Crestwood, Ky., Robbie Blankenship of Clarksville, Jason Blankenship of Elizabeth, Tony Smith of Corydon and Terry and Steven Smith, both of Depauw; a daughter, Stacey Smith of New Albany; a sister, Janice Wilson of Palmyra; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a Masonic service at 6, and Thursday, July 9, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, July 9, at noon at the funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Pallbearers: Todd, Robbie and Jason Blankenship, Rick Moore, Terry and Steven Smith, Stan Goins and J.R. Heinze.
Honorary pallbearer: Roger Heinze.
