Wayne Milfred Snyder, 80, Corydon, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Oct. 29, 1934, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Richard and Alma Danner Snyder.
He was owner and operator of Snyder Building and Supply and a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Fey; four sons, David Snyder of Corydon, Mark Snyder of English, Joseph Snyder of Huntington and Joshua Snyder of Remington; two daughters, Jennifer Stephan and Julie Snyder, both of Corydon; a sister, Darlene Gieg of Nashville, Tenn.; and more than a half dozen grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with private burial.
Memorial service: Saturday, July 11, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Pallbearers: Aaron, Isaac, Jordan and Dylan Snyder, Wayne Stephan and Brady Herbert.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses or the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 210 Quarry Road, Corydon, IN 47112.
