Kiwanis to host fireworks show

The annual Kiwanis Club Fourth of July fireworks display will be Friday at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.) at the Old Capital Golf Club just east of Corydon along S.R. 62.
Spectators are urged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs and a radio to kick off the celebratory weekend with a display by Casabella’s Fireworks. The show will have musical accompaniment broadcast on AM-1550 WOCC.
Country Club Road will be one-way westbound starting at 8 p.m. At the conclusion of the fireworks show, it will become one-way eastbound. No parking is allowed along S.R. 62. Additional parking with a free shuttle to the golf course will be available at Corydon Central High School (last bus before fireworks will depart at 9:45 p.m.).
