Iris Faith Badger, 84, Corydon, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her home.
Born Sept. 14, 1930, in Henryville, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Mamie Gorman Palmer.
She was formerly employed in the cafeteria at Floyd County Hospital, Scott County Hospital, Walmart in Corydon and the old U.S. Army ammunition bag plant in Charlestown and was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Marshall (Bill) Badger; a son, Robert Lee Badger; and two sisters, Vangie and Elsie.
Survivors include a son, Marshall Dennis (Denny) Badger of Sevierville, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary Faith Khalil of New Rochelle, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Scott Blessitt and Steve Smith.
Pallbearers: Members of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.
