Charles J. Baylor

Charles J. (C.J.) Baylor, 74, Milltown, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Jan. 17, 1941, in Milltown, he was the son of the late Knofel Baylor and Lola Flanigan Baylor.
He graduated from Milltown High School in 1959, served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Louisville, where he worked for 30 years at the Kentucky Truck Plant, was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 661 in Milltown and a 25-year member of American Legion Post No. 332 in Milltown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley Nice, and two sisters, Addis Jean Daugherty and Oneita Dugas.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Bell, Elaine Schotter and Lisa Morris; six sisters, Lois Foust, Rachel Cladell, Zada Deaton, Joyce Hogan, Jane Shoemaker and Norena Collins; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 9, after 10 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Thursday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery near Milltown.
Officiant: Brother Jason VanMeter.
