Eudora M. Wenning

Eudora M. Wenning, 93, Hancock Chapel, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at her home.
Born July 20, 1921, at Fredericksburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Bessie Black Roll.
She was a homemaker, member of Hancock Chapel United Methodist Church and, with her husband, Bud, operated Wenning’s Grocery Store for 35 years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson (Bud) Wenning; a son, Jerry Wenning; six brothers, Harold, Carl Mason, Wilson, Stanley, Robert and Paul; and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Helen Elliott.
Survivors include a son, Larry Wenning of Georgetown; two daughters, Sue Oppel and Donna Wenning of Depauw; a brother, James Roll of Hardinsburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, March 21, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 22, after 10 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Hancock Chapel Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts may to the Hancock Chapel Cemetery Fund.
