Virginia Anne Gusler, 80, Laconia, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Feb. 15, 1935, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. Cooper and Olivia Watson Pitman Cooper Faith.
She was an Army veteran and a member of Antioch Christian Church near Elizabeth.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Gusler; a son, Richard L. Gusler; and a brother, Charles Douglas Faith.
Survivors include a son, Regan Gusler of Corydon; two daughters, Marla Sue Smith of New Salisbury and Lora Jean Monroe of Ringold, Ga.; two brothers, Howard Dale Faith of Laconia and Don M. Cooper of Lynnville; four sisters, Carolyn Beams of Floyds Knobs, Donna James and Brenda Hubert, both of Perry County, and Patty Lynch of Branchville; and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 14, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Central Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Regan Gusler, David Wright, David Monroe, Howard Dale Faith, Ronald Beams and Charles Shaffer.
