James M. Parks

James Michael (Mike) Parks, 53, Georgetown, formerly of Louisville, died Monday, March 9, 2015, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
Born July 11, 1961, in Louisville, he was the son of Donna Faye Schoedinger Crowder of Louisville and the late Donald Clayton Parks.
He was a self-employed tile and plumbing house remodeler and a truck driver.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Michele Heishman; three daughters, Dawn Michelle Parks-Taylor of Louisville and Allison Marie and Layla Arlaine Parks, both of Georgetown; four brothers, Douglas A. Parks of Louisville, Joel D. Parks of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Gerald A. and Don Parks Jr., both of Indianapolis; a sister, Donna Hirt of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 13, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society or to Mike’s children.
