JoAnn (MawMaw) Sherrard Fancher, 77, Jeffersonville, died Friday, March 6, 2015.
Born Oct. 31, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Leslie J. and Lillie Fox Arbuckle.
She was a former owner of Butcher Boy and a member of Charity Baptist Church in Central Barren, the Marengo American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary and the Marengo Garden Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald R. Sherrard and Harold C. Fancher; two brothers, Jess and Bill Arbuckle; two sisters, Kathryn Habich and Sue Arbuckle; and a grandson, Eric Ray.
Survivors include a son, Larry J. Sherrard of Henryville; three daughters, Kathy L. Ray of Jeffersonville, Dona S. Whittaker of Corydon and Lilly D. Baker of Marengo; a sister, Joyce Mertz of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, March 9, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 10, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial at 1:30 p.m. at Vine Grove (Ky.) Cemetery.
