Irma I. Heilig

Irma I. Hendrich Heilig, 88, New Salisbury, died Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Born July 19, 1926, at Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Rosa E. Crecelius Cunningham.
She was a former employee of the old Keller Manufacturing Co. and a member of NARFE Chapter 1777, New Albany, and Central Barren United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Burrell L. Hendrich and Wesley A. Heilig; a brother, Strause Cunningham; a sister, Elsie Lee Cunningham; and a granddaughter, Pamela Giecek.
Survivors include a son, Charles (Chuck) Hendrich of New Salisbury; three sisters, Ruth Mattingly of New Albany and Betty Goldman and Ethel Bays, both of New Salisbury; a stepson, Gary S. Heilig of New Salisbury; a stepdaughter, Deborah G. Adams of Depauw; and a granddaughter.
Visitation: Monday, March 9, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 10, after 1:30 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 10, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
