Hobert E. Needham
Hobert E. Needham, 82, Corydon, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Dec. 24, 1932, in Derby, Va., he was the son of the late Edgar and Frances Dalton Needham.
He was retired from B.F. Goodrich in Louisville, a member of Hursttown United Methodist Church near Corydon and an Army veteran of the Korean War era.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Jean Needham, and a brother, Edgar (Junebug) Needham Jr.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Lou Daugherty; two sons, Ronnie E. Needham of Jeffersonville and Allen Needham of Corydon; a brother, John Needham of Middletown, Ohio; a sister, Joyce Blevins of Sevierville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. at Hursttown United Methodist Church north of Corydon with burial in Hursttown Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Edith Bleecker.
Pallbearers: Ronnie and Allen Needham, Nick Champlin, Zack DenBesten, Perry Scroggin and Steve Katsikas.
